My latest cheong (korean fruit syrup) experiment is one with tomato and basil. Sweet, savory, herbaceous, a little peppery - interesting! So far I've tried it with soda, on ice cream, in a salad dressing and on fruit salad. The soda was my favorite, and I'll let some ferment (is it fermentation?) a while longer for a deeper taste :)
