I've walked past this little store a thousand times before stopping by to pick up a copy of Alison Roman's Something from Nothing. The gal standing behind the counter asked if I was looking for anything in particular?

Me: Do you carry Alison Roman's cookbooks?

Her: No. Not since we'd gotten into a fight at the bar.

... which was totally a joke, they carry all of her cookbooks! But her deadpan delivery was so good. This is a delightful little store. Do visit.
